Volantes
DON'T TOUCH ME
Performance in Berlin, 2020
This performance illustrates Zora Volantes' experience during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In order to be able to show her art, Zora Volantes went to the Museum Island at night and gave
a performance in front of an absent audience.
The artist is naked and has painted her skin dark. Water-filled rubber gloves hang from her body.
On her head, she wears a lampshade that functions as a mask.
The photo of the performance was published as part of the open call "Stadt findet Kunst" in Berlin.
